2020 Art Throw Down Invitational Award Winners
The Columbus State Art Department is proud to host the second annual High School Art Throw Down Invitational.
Select your best and brightest art students to compete in the second annual Art Throw Down Invitational and be part of history as they compete in various categories ranging from two and three dimensional media to animation and graphic design. In light of COVID-19 this year’s event will be completely virtual. Each participating school will have access to the individual learning modules in lesson plan form to be given to select students on your team. Learning modules can be found using the link below. Each module must be completed by no more than two students and their completed art work must be sent back no later than midnight of Sunday November 8th.

What You Need to Do Beforehand
Select your best art students to be part of a twelve person art competition team with two alternates in the event of the unforeseen (14 students total). Make selections based on skill level and in specific disciplines. Competitive categories can range from two and three dimensional media to animation and graphic design. There will be 6 workshops with 2 students representing each school in each workshops. A full list of workshops will be posted on the CSU Art Dept. website in the fall of 2020.
