Degrees and Programs
The Department of Art offers a broad array of undergraduate and graduate degree programs to provide the best possible solutions to the varied needs and interests of a diverse student population. We seek to offer the highest quality advising, and each student is assigned a faculty advisor according to their program choice and degree track. Department of Art Degree Programs
Please refer to the CSU Academic Catalog for all Department of Art degree program descriptions, possible career directions, admission requirements, expected learning outcomes for each degree, additional program requirements, the required program of study, and a sample recommended MAP for degree progression. Please note that the BFA Degree requires an “area of focus” in one of the following: Ceramics, Digital Art & Design (becoming Graphic Design), Drawing & Painting, Photography, Printmaking, or Sculpture. Graphic Design curriculum is currently being developed and offered as part of the BFA.
