Bio

Tom Mills holds a B.A. in Education and a B. A. in Art & Design from LaGrange College, as well as an M.F.A. from Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York. He conducted advanced study at the Johnson Atelier Technical Institute of Sculpture in Princeton, New Jersey. Mills is a member of the Portrait Society of Atlanta and the Portrait Society of America. His areas of studio expertise include sculpture (bronze casting), drawing, and painting in oil.

Recent local exhibitions include the 2011 Visual Art Alliance Group Exhibition at the LaGrange Art Museum in LaGrange, Georgia; the 2010 spring and summer juried exhibitions “Portrait Drawings” for the Portrait Society of Atlanta, and the Visual Art Alliance Group Exhibition at the LaGrange Art Museum in LaGrange, Georgia. Tom Mills teaches Art Appreciation at Columbus State University.
