SUMMER PROGRAM AT CSU ART
CALLING ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS!

ANIMATION
In this introductory course, students will get hands-on experience working with Autodesk's 3D animation software Maya, which is used by many professional studios around the world for film and game development. During this course, Students will be exposed to foundational concepts of animation and asset modeling while working to complete their first 3D animated short.

CERAMICS
This studio intensive course will be an introductory course for students without any prior experiences in ceramics. Through assignments, demonstrations, lectures, critiques & discussions, students will be introduced to the basic forming & glazing techniques in the field of ceramics. Students will also explore both historical and contemporary approaches & methods in relation to the medium.

PRINTMAKING
Utilize CSU's state-of-the-art Print Shop to learn the fundamentals of printmaking, safely and creatively. Use your own drawings and ideas as inspiration to make black-and-white and color prints using hand-printing and press techniques. Each student is asked to bring three plain cotton shirt for printing. Students will create one-of-a-kind painterly monoprints, learn relief printing processes, explore the creative and versatile possibilities of screen printing.
