Circle of Interest is a special event that invites art enthusiasts inside the faculty studios in the CSU Department of Art to learn more about their practice. Our first program this fall will explore contemporary approaches and art historical perspectives on Renaissance painting. Our featured faculty are Prof. Orion Wertz, painter and illustrator and Dr. Claire McCoy, the William B. and Sue Marie Turner Faculty Chair in Art History. Join us and explore the studio practice of Wertz while Dr. McCoy gives a twist and historical interpretation of painting during the Renaissance.
